"This is Benedict. He is a Red-Throated Diver. Benedict has always been high spirited and extroverted and as a young bird developed an eccentric fashion style which he enjoys as an expression of his outgoing personality. But Benedict's family are made up of self-conscious and old-fashioned types who love Benedict but often wish he would tone it down a bit in public. His loud fashion choices look a little bit absurd to them and Benedict senses that his extroverted spirit is perceived as ridiculous. He fears he is "too much" but then wonders if he will ever be enough."
