Macrame is a fun and effective textile craft which uses knotting of cord, string or t-shirt yarn to create artworks and items for the home. This is more suited to older children and adults, but many macrame projects are suitable for beginners.

Macrame sessions can range from basics, such as making jam jar lantern hangers, macrame feather mobiles and plant hangers, to more intermediate or advanced sessions in which participants would learn a wider range of knots, and embellishments and create wall hangings. ​​​​​
